This one is clearly the second act of a prompt series — a referential phrase like “the same runner” tells you it's leaning on the character established in the earlier marathon scene, and fed to the model in isolation, stripped of that context, it'll very likely fail to recognize this as the same person. In practice you'd want to splice the two prompts together or fill in the character's appearance again. Deliberately holding onto “the same sun” as a lighting-continuity detail through the disaster scene is meant to make the transition read as a sudden turn within one continuous timeline rather than the start of a new segment — that kind of continuity-in-environment, sharp-turn-in-events writing carries a lot more narrative tension than just piling on disaster imagery.
