An epic Eastern celestial-palace megastructure scene. The left side of the frame is dominated by a row of gigantic stone pillars — each pillar's diameter equal to the height of eight immortals — their shafts extending upward beyond the top of the frame, a total of seven pillars repeating from near to far, forming a strong converging perspective line whose vanishing point disappears about 1/3 of the way into the upper right of the frame. The pillars are made of pearl-gray stone, their surfaces carved with shallow relief patterns of star trails running from the base all the way to the top; the ground is paved with marble slabs, spotlessly clean, with a faint sheen of reflection. A figure wearing a vivid crimson robe stands on the ground between the rows of pillars — a broad white-stone celestial-stair platform — the figure occupying about 2% of the frame's height, a mere minuscule speck of color, walking slowly forward. Overall lighting: high-angle diffuse light falls evenly from the upper right, the pillars' lit faces warm and glowing, their shadows bright and translucent, forming a soft contrast of light and dark. The distant architecture fades progressively with atmospheric distance, sharp up close and soft in the distance. The camera slowly pushes in and orbits, the figure walks slowly, and the clouds roll and drift.
