Volcano Creature and the Circling Helicopter

An aerial survey shot opens the sequence, executed with VAN 2.2's precise framing: the camera glides low over a churning ocean at dusk, an active volcano venting orange light in the distance. A military helicopter enters frame, blades kicking up sea spray as it circles the eruption's plume. Then the water surface fractures — a colossal creature breaches beside the volcano's base, dark hide slick and steaming, sending a wall of displaced water toward the helicopter. The pilot banks hard, spotlight sweeping across the creature's flank as ash drifts through the rotor wash. Distant thunder from the volcano mixes with rotor noise and sonar pings.
